Ankar’s Billiards and Barstools is family owned and operated, and has been doing business in Chattanooga and the surrounding areas for over 38 years. In 1973, with the help of a brother in the same business in Houston, TX, Victor Ankar opened his first store selling pool tables and trampolines. Moving to several different locations over the years, Victor decided to build his own store in 1981 where Ankar’s currently resides. Over the years, Ankar’s has sold just about every brand of pool tables and gameroom accessories available to the market, which has allowed them to select from only the best there is to offer. Ronny 32, has now taken a prominent role in the business and, with the emergence of “big box” stores, we are confident that our “family” approach to doing business will take us to another 30+ years of success.
